Discover Fresh Produce at Marché du Midi

Marché du Midi is Brussels largest Sunday market, located near Gare du Midi. The market is predominantly full of fresh fruit and vegetables, but there are also plants, flowers, and food stalls to tempt you.

What makes this market special is the atmosphere; friendly people, with a great sense of humour. The most interesting thing to do is to buy a couple of boxes of mixed products as the prices then become unbeatable!

Even if you don’t buy anything, stick around for a jovial after-market tipple. For top-end victuals, serious foodies swear by épicerie.

You should also try the Moroccan pancakes which are avaliable in most flavours from goats cheese to vegetables or for the sweet toothed amongst you honey. This can all then be washed down with some refreshing mint tea.

The Marché du Midi is held every Sunday and since it is located so close to the train station it is the perfect place to stop by on your way back home.
